Anycubic Kobra 3 Max - Power Consumption

I measured the idle values again with the current K3M firmware 2.5.1.7 and ACE Pro firmware 1.3.863. The idle power consumption was reduced! I kept the old measured values in brackets.

I was curious what power the Anycubic Kobra 3 Max 8 Color Combo draws. What I measured:

• Anycubic Kobra 3 Max only, Idle: 10W (30.4.2025: 18W) (display on)
• ACE Pro only: 8W (30.4.2025: 13W)

So, the total setup “Anycubic Kobra 3 Max 8 Color Combo” has 44W idle.

Some further measurement gave me some values for PLA printing. I printed a small part (30min print time) and measured power consumption multiple times during print to get an average value. This is accurate enough for my purpose as I wanted a rough estimate. The print was done using PLA and 215°C extrusion temperature and 65°C bed temperature during the whole print. What I got is that the “Anycubic Kobra 3 Max 8 Color Combo” needs:

• 923W during early heat up phase (3-4 min)
• 538W during later heat up phase
• 360W on average while printing
